On 15./16.November 2013 the 1st Leipzig Hydrocephalus Meeting (“1. Leipziger HydrocephalusTagung”) will be held.
Speakers throughout Germany will discuss controversies and report about their experiences and latest scientific and clinical points of view about hydrocephalus. The historic venue of Gohlis Palace (“Gohliser Schlösschen”) will provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Main topic is state-of-the-art treatment of hydrocephalus as well as life-long support by pediatricians and care-gives in daily life (e.g. “what is my child allowed to do in all day life?”).
1st Leipzig Hydrocephalus Meeting (“1. Leipziger HydrocephalusTagung”) is open not only for neurosurgeons and neurologist, but especially pediatricians, pediatric surgeon and general practitioners are cordially invited to join the meeting.
After presentations at the Congress of the European Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery (ESPN) in Rome and the German Neurosurgical Society (DGNC), many new cooperations are in preparation and new therapeutic concepts are about to be integrated.
We aim to be always in concordance with the current state-of-the-art concepts as well as to participate in developing guidelines for the future.
